GB3 Takes On Hungaroring for Round 4
With the arrival of Round 3, brings our second European outing as the GB3 Championship debuted at the legendary Hungaroring circuit.
Unlike back home in the UK, the weekend saw blisteringly hot weather in Budapest across the three day weekend, which saw Seb deliver another solid performance in what is his rookie season in the GB3 Championship.
Despite showing consistent pace and ability in the test days in the run up to the weekend, it proved ultimately to be a challenging weekend for Seb following a tough qualifying session which saw him start P17 for race one.
In Race One, he crossed the line P17, navigating the demanding circuit with consistency but was unable to break into the top positions.
Race Two saw a slight improvement, with Murray securing a P15 finish, a good result but one that fell just shy of the points.
Race Three ended in disappointment early one due to a mechanical issue which wasn’t possible to fix, leading Murray to pick up a DNF. Despite the setbacks, Seb was able to gain valuable experience which he can carry forward into the next round at Zandvoort in a few weeks time where hopefully he can secure a good result for the team.
