Seb Murray Battles Back for Top 10 Finish at Barber Double Header

Murray returned to action this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park for a challenging double header, showing strong resilience to come away with a top-10 finish and valuable championship points in Sunday’s race.

The weekend began on a positive note, with Seb feeling confident in the car throughout practice. A solid foundation allowed the team to build momentum heading into qualifying, with encouraging pace across both sessions.

Qualifying saw Seb secure P6 in his group, placing him P12 on the grid for both Race 1 and Race 2 - a strong starting position that kept him firmly in the fight.

Unfortunately, Race 1 on Saturday came to an early end following an incident on the opening lap, denying Seb the chance to convert his pace into a result.

Bouncing back on Sunday, Seb delivered a much stronger and more composed performance in Race 2. A clean start allowed him to gain positions early, before settling into a consistent rhythm and maintaining his position inside the Top 10. Crossing the line in P10, he secured important points to add to his championship tally.

Reflecting on the weekend, Seb remained focused on the positives:

“Disappointed with the result from Race 1, but happy to bounce back stronger on Sunday in Race 2 and come home with P10 and a good points haul. Looking forward to a break now before gearing up for the next race at Indy in May.”
