Miami Test Sets the Tone for the 2026 season
Seb continued his preparations for the 2026 INDY NXT season with a strong two-day test in Miami on Sunday and Monday. Although not a track the series visits in the race calendar, the street circuit nature of the Miami International Autodrome allows an opportunity to build confidence and momentum heading into the opening round this weekend on the tight streets of St. Petersburg.
The test marked an important final opportunity for Seb and Andretti Global to fine-tune their approach before racing gets underway. Across both days, Seb showed competitive pace and consistency, underlining the progress made through pre-season testing.
Day 2 was particularly encouraging, with Seb finishing P2 in the morning session and P3 in the afternoon. The results placed him firmly among the front-runners and provided a positive boost heading into race week.
Reflecting on the test, Seb said:
“Really strong test in Miami, showed some really competitive pace over the two days and furthered our development with the car. Really looking forward to fighting at the front in St Pete this weekend.”
With testing complete, attention now turns to the season opener in St. Petersburg later this week, and the full 2026 campaign ahead.
